Under the guidance and encouragement of our Rav,

Rabbi Yisroel Noach Raichik Shlit"a,

Our Kehilla will be partnering with the Farmers of Eretz Yisroel to support the farmers of Israel with a unique opportunity. Together we will sponsor the keeping of Shmitah in Eretz Yisroel, and in the process everyone will acquire the zechus and bracha of observing Shmitah k’halacha themselves.

If we raise $30,000, all donors will share partnership in 50% of a farm to be named, retroactive to Rosh Hashana of this year, and earn the zchus of keeping the mitzvos of Shmita. A sign will be hung at the farm with our Shul's name, indicating our partnership. Anyone who will visit Eretz Yisrael during the remaining months of Shmita is invited to come and visit the farm.
