Under the guidance and encouragement of our

 Rav Shlit"a,

Our Beit Knesset will be partnering as a group, to support the farmers of Eretz Yisrael with a unique opportunity for this year of Shmitah. As 5782 is a leap year, there is an extra month during which time it will be Shmitah and our assistance is even more critical.
Together we will sponsor the keeping of Shmitah k’halacha on a farm in Eretz Yisrael, and in the process everyone will acquire the zechut and bracha of observing Shmitah k’halacha themselves.
(If we reach our goal of $30,000) our Shul name will be inscribed on a sign at the farm. Visit Eretz Yisrael during shmitah and take a tour of our farm.
